Gold Price Update – February 28, 2026

22K and 24K Gold Rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Other CitiesGold prices have moved up slightly today. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for the April futures contract is trading at around ₹1,56,120 per 10 grams, showing a small rise from yesterday’s price of ₹1,55,980. Experts say gold prices are fairly steady right now. This is mainly because international gold markets are not seeing much change, and the Indian rupee has also remained stable. Together, these factors are helping keep gold prices from swinging sharply. Jewellers and traders mention that market activity is slow at the moment. Many investors are holding back and waiting for clearer signals, especially from the US economy and movements in global currencies, before making any buying or selling decisions. Silver prices are also largely unchanged today and are trading close to ₹2,87,400 per kilogram. Compared to gold, silver has shown very little movement during the session. In major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, gold prices have remained mostly stable. Buyers and investors are closely watching both 22-carat and 24-carat gold rates as they try to understand where the market may head next
